Simon Brentford

Number of Jumps: 1900
Training Completed: 150 jumps and 7 hours tunnel time in 2004.
Objectives: To become good at 4-way and learn a new slot.

"I formed a new team called Wizards in early 2004. Previous to that, I had done 4 years of 4-way but wanted to go harder. Steve and John took me back to basics and taught me where to look, how to move, the importance of stopping and anticipation."

Plans for the Future: At the moment, I am now coaching some teams and individuals. I would like to return to 4-way soon.

è The Bodyflight Project

Vertical wind tunnels for skydiving are new in the UK. Currently there are 2 tunnels. Based at Bedford, Bodyflight has been in operation since Autumn 2005. They decided to setup a series of 4 teams to be coached by John and Steve with the objective of seeing how far they could take them. Bodyflight Rage and Havoc competed in the AAA class, Storm in the AA class and Frenzy in the Rookie class.

Coaching consisted of several camps at Skydive Spain, and weekend / mid-week tunnel trips from November 2005 right up to the week before Nationals.
